Welcome to Escapade!
We are a group of fans from diverse backgrounds who have banded together to put on a weekend-long, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly convention held in the beginning of the year in Southern California. For the past 30+ years, we have been known for having fun - so much so, we get called the Slash Slumber Party! There's a vidshow, meet ups, dance party, panels, and so much more! We’re here to hang out, talk, pimp our favorite sources/pairings/groups, talk, watch stuff together, talk, share fanworks, talk, watch vids, talk… You get the picture. :)Ever since the pandemic, we've held an online version of the convention for anyone who can't make it to the in-person convention (or just want more Escapade). Usually the online con takes place about 6 months after the in-person version. (Hey, sometimes we need a break too!)Not only do we host awesomely fun conventions, but we offer scholarships to assist fans who might not otherwise be able to attend. Can't afford a flight and hotel? Let us know, and we'll do our best to help. Need ADA considerations? Let us know, and we'll arrange for them.
